June project update for Informatics and IT Collaborative 

Here’s the latest update on the Informatics and Information Technology Collaborative (IITC)

Updates:

  • Two IIT team members, have been honored with prestigious awards at the 2024 IT Recognition Awards.
  • Q+A with Research Data Services Director Gabe McMahan
  • Open Recruitments – accepting applications until 11:55pm on June 30th, full position description on the UW Jobs site linked in the title: 
    • Academic Application Administrator: This is a new position reporting to Kristin Simon on our Education & Training Technology team. This is a 2-year project position with the possibility to convert to a renewable, permanent position based on funding and operational need. The position is funded by the Medical Education Office in Academic Affairs.
    • User Support Specialist III: This is a new position reporting to Bob Ash on our User Support Services team. This is a 2-year project position with the possibility to convert to a renewable, permanent position based on funding and operational need. The position primarily supports the Department of Medical Physics and is fully funded by them.
