Looking Back
Workstream 1 – A major milestone
Wrapping up Workstream 1 is a major milestone in this project. During this workstream, project leadership went through three phases: pre-planning, discovery, and validation.
- Pre-Planning deliverables involved creating the three main workstreams. Project leadership met with all in-scope departments and identified the team of IT leads to assist with the discovery phase.
- Discovery deliverables were defining Services Lines (definition/scope for each group), departmental groups for Helpdesk/desktop support/program management, departmental IT asset discovery framework/templates, determine initial IT project list, draft IIT org chart, and created a Team Operating Agreement for the Planning IT Leads group.
- Validation deliverables comprised meeting with each department (IT Lead, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chair) to validate their assets, hear feedback, and set up an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) between SMPH IIT and each specific department.
Workstream 1 – Asset Inventory Findings and Opportunities
As part of the discovery and validations phases of Workstream 1, departmental leadership took inventory of available assets.
