Joining the Pilot Knowledge Networks

The Knowledge Networks are designed to foster teamwork, exploration, and preparation for future Service Lines. They bring together experts to collaborate, share knowledge, and enhance efficiency, with the goal of improving IT services at SMPH. Facilitators have received training from the UW Office of Strategic Consulting. You are welcome to join any Knowledge Network that interests you, including more than one. 

The four Pre-Service Line Knowledge Networks listed below are: Application Support, Endpoint Support, Software Development, and System Administration / Infrastructure.

Application Support

The Application Support Knowledge Network will unite professionals for continuous learning and best practice sharing in IT application support across SMPH missions.

Co-Facilitators:

Meetings will be on the first Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm

The Endpoint Support Knowledge Network will promote collaboration to improve endpoint support services.

Software Development

The Software Development Knowledge Network will bring together developers, engineers, designers, testers, and other software professionals to facilitate continuous learning, collaboration, innovation, and excellence in software development practices.

Co-Facilitators:

Meetings will be on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm

The System Administration Knowledge Network aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of SMPH IT system administrators by facilitating idea exchange and leveraging collective expertise.
