- Download approved SMPH branded PowerPoint templates
- Define clear S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time Sensitive) learning objectives
- Chunk material into smaller modules if it will take students longer then 20 minutes
- Preferable time per recorded chunk is 10-12 minutes
Visual Appeal | PowerPoint Tips:
- Bullet points instead of paragraph
- Bulleted text should end in a (.) if it’s a full sentence
- Try to keep punctuation consistent in same group of points
- Left align text
- Use bold and italics to emphasis key words, do not underline unless it’s a hyperlink
- Leave white space on page to aid readability
- Apply interactive strategies that engage learners
